About Chaya Schreiber-Heller, [3rd wife]

COMMENT: The various sources posted on Chaya Schreiber-Sofer and Chaya Heller, make it likely that Chaya Schreiber-Sofer is not the daughter of Chaim Weinrib and Chaya Heller. I believe I can reconcile all the reported facts regarding this area of the tree, which are not reflected in the current GENI tree: 1) that R' Tzvi Heller is either married to his niece Chaya Schreiber-Heller, [3rd wife] who is the daughter of his sister Chaya Weinreb (apparently this was permitted by halakha) or more likely, due to the naming problem, Chaya Schreiber-Heller is not the daughter of Chaim Weinrib and Chaya Heller after all (and I see no evidence that she is the daughter of Chaim Weinrib with another woman either), 2) in Otser HaRabanim # 3281 Friedman asserts that Mordechai Mardish Weinreb is the brother-in-law of Arye Leib Heller, 3) which implies that Arye Heller is the brother of the spouse of Mordechai Weinrib, 4) the former fact implies that Arye Heller is the son of Ephraim Katz, 5) the former implies that the surname Heller is not from Arye Heller's family, 6) the eulogy Yikhus of Chaya Weinrib, made by R' Kluger, states that she is a descendant of Tosfot Yom Tov Heller, 7) since Yom Tov Heller was HaLevi, and there is no indication that Aryeh Leyb or his descending line is HaLevi, Chaya Weinrib must descend from Yom Tov Heller through her mother and this is where the surname Heller enters the line, 8) the Kluger source states that Mordechai Weinrib was the nephew of Hirsh Charif and that R' Kluger of Brody was Hirsh Charif's nephew-in-law (spouse of sister's daughter). Due to the complexity of making changes on GENI I have reconciled all of these facts into a GEDCOM tree which is available for download. This file can then be uploaded to Ancestry.com or viewed using virtually any family tree software: https://www.xyvy.info/service/EphKatz_HirshCharif_Heller_Weinrib_Tr.... (08 JAN 2024)

Chaya Heller-Shreiber was commonly thought to be a sister to Liba Kluger and Mordechai Weinreb, and a daghter of Chaya Weinreb. However, it seems unlikely that mother and daughter would share the same name.

See this testimony from R' Shomo Kluger's son, R' Avraham Binyamin, that Chaya Weinreb was in fact not R' Tzvi Heller's mother-in-law but rather his sister.

.
We know her name was Chaya (Heller-Shreiber) from a newly discovered Yizkor book of the city of Bonyahd from 1854. There is also a letter extant from her to the Chasam Sofer, signed Chaya. QUESTION: How do we know that her father was Chaim Weinrib?
