Cherukara Paruvelithundiyil Rev.Gheevarghese Kathanar Geevarghese Kashisha

I was the second son of Cherukara Vadakethu Mathen. Was made a Deacon by Punathra Metran.1834 Started living at Paruvelil thundiyil.

I was well known for bringing about changes in two areas, firstly with the serving of the bread and wine at the Qurbana service. While initially the bread was dipped in the wine and given , it was served separately by me.

Secondly I was instrumental in conducting the Qurbana in malayalam which initially used to be done in the Syriac language only.
