I was told our family can be located in the Crow Hill District of Sprit Lake Reservation (west of Fort Totton city. The Crow Hill district Originally were composed of Hunkpati and Yankton. The Cut-heads all left for Cannon Ball, ND. The Crow Hill district originally were composed of Hunkpati and Yankton. The original Walking Eagle band came from Fort Peck, MT. 

In 2020 I found a post by Lakotaman97 on March 8, 2020 at Taptalk with other tribal members one stated that his grandmothers maiden name was Walking Eagle, her fathers name was Ralph Walking Eagle and His father was James Walking Eagle and his father was Black Prarie Dog.
