Red Road (Good Road) Walking Eagle's her father was Bear Man and her mother, Shell Woman.

Native American's would have many names, when they were born, when they killed their first deer and when they became a man and when they became a leader ect...so their names were many. So it's common for Native American Indians to have many names. Red Road Walking Eagles other Tribal name was "Good Woman:"listed as her tribal name at Fort Peck. (MH)

My Great Grandmothers name is noted as Can-Ku Du-Ta. Duta stands for Iron. Can-Ku translated English is "Good Road". (MH)

After Iron Ring she married her 2nd Husband was Walking Eagle aka Chief Wanbdi Mani member of the Lower Yancktonnai chief Standing Rock Agency Delegation, there were 16 men in 1885 Standing Rock heads of families, Walking Eagle was Chief of 204 members.
