Chris van der Berg (1941 - 2013)

Brief overview:

Chris (72), a home invasion happened at Anthony and Susan Immelman's residence, at Brandmuller Drive, Vereeniging, at 14h00, on 17th November 2013. Chris, Susan's father, was there at the time when four armed robbers broke in, tied the three of them up, and assaulted the men. They fled with firearms, electronic equipment, jewellery and alcohol. Chris collapsed, and Anthony did CPR to try and resuscitate him, before the Netcare 911 responded. He died at the scene.

The SAPS investigated, and forensics took fingerprints. Chris's death was ruled a heart attack.
