About Christiaan Michiel Adendorff, A1b6
Most trees have that this Christiaan Michiel Adendorff died on 2nd June 1886 in Graaf-Reinet. This however cannot be correct because in John Trollip's (attached to his Death Notice) joint will with Anna Elizabeth du Plessis dated 21 June 1858, he states that he was a widower of Martha van Zyl and that Anna Plessis, was a widow of Christiaan Adendorff.
His last child was born in 1843 and Wikitree has that he died in 1844 but this perhaps is an estimate from the date of birth of his last child.
Anna Elizabeth Maria Du Plessis (1806-1884) second husband was John Trollip but we have no date for this. She was already married to him in 1855 because he is mentioned in her mothers Death Notice.
