Lewis died in 1809 Christiana stayed in Fayettiville with her unmarried children still at home till about 1816 when she went to Alabama to live with her son Dr. John Robinson Barge, many years later in 1844 Christiana died at the home of her son John and was buried there, then John Robinson would die in March of 1846,less than 2 years after his Mother Christiana death, this is why I believe there both buried very near one another in the Cemetery, since Grand Mother went to live with my Uncle John seems he would have made sure of this.

We were in Alabama on Oct.7-8-2012 we went to the Monterey Cemetery and placed Grand Mother a Concrete Cross we placed it next to her son & Grandson,we also visited the Pine Flat Methodist Church Home Coming it was very nice I fill Honored to have been able to attened of the 20 Charter Members 10 were Barge's. The Pine Flat Cemetery is on the grounds of the Church where many of my Barge Ancestors are buried, the Cemetery & Grounds are being taken great care of by Family.

You will all see I have added the new Son's Of The Revolution Marker for Lewis Barge that was placed in Cross Creek Cemetery in Fayetteville N. C. there were 3 of Christiana and Lewis Barge's 3rd. Great Grand Children and 6 G.G.G.G. Grand Children it was a Honor to be at this Marker Dedication Service and to be asked to help unveil Grand Dad's Revolutionary Marker was very Humbling to me. We had a great time visiting with family and im proud that Grand Mother had her new Marker last year that was so important to me.
