Christopher is the son of William and Grace Dutch Hodgkins. He was born in 1666.[1] He married Tabitha Haywood at Ipswich in 1689.[2] They had nine children together before he drowned in the Annisquam River in 1724/5.[3]

6. Christopher, born in 1666, drowned March 4, 1724, aged fifty-eight years. On January 29. i68q, he married Tabitha Hayward, who died Sep- tember 15, 1735, daughter of William Hay- ward (born 1636, died July 25, 1709). They had nine children.

Tabitha Howard, daughter of William Howard and Tabitha Kinsman, m on Jan. 29, 1689, Christopher Hodgkins of Ipswich. She was the mother of seven children, several of whom were born in Gloucester, Mass., where she seems to have passed most of her married life. After the death of her husband she returned to Ipswich, and there died Sept. 15, 1735.
