A 28-year-old man was arrested after he allegedly robbed a 70-year-old man of R90 and then shot him dead, KwaZulu-Natal police said on Tuesday. Captain Gerald Mfeka said the attack took place outside Chunni Bagwandn's home at Renishaw in Scottburgh on Monday. Bagwandn was walking to his house when the robber came up from behind him and demanded money, said Mfeka. The man armed with a pistol robbed Bagwandn of R90, shot him in the chest and fled. He died at the scene.
