DEATH: Obituaries Book VIII Pg 79, Robinson Library, Robinson, IL "Clara E. Keenan Lingafelter, daughter of James and Elizabeth Keenan was born October 23, 1862, and departed this life July 5, 1931, age 68 years, 7 months and 12 days. "She was joined in Holy Matrimony to Abraham L. Lingafelter October 26, 1879. To this union was born fourteen children, ten girls and four boys, all of whom survive her except two daughters, Louella and Eva. "Her early married life was devoted in a Christian way in rearing her family to manhood and womanhood. "When her duty to her family had been completed she then united with the Cumberland Presbyterian church giving her means and her service to her Lord remaining a faithful member until she was called to her reward. "A few months before her demise she became afflicted and was unable to attend all the means of grace but ever faithful in her home to the church during her affliction. All was done that human hands could do but God in his wisdom saw fit to call her from this world into that Eternal Home. "Mother will be missed in the home but we know our Father doeth all things well. She is in a place where all is joy and happiness. "She leaves to mourn their loss her eight daughters and 4 sons, 32 granddaughters, two sisters and one brother. Her loving husband preceded her July 15, 1918."

BURIAL: Buried at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery with husband in south west corner; large gray granite stone just south west of intersection of western most north-south road and southern east-west road.
