Mrs. Jacob Stolen Dies At Her Home Mrs. Clara H. Stolen, 65, wife of Jacob Stolen, former clerk of the superior court, died suddenly WEdnesday night at her home in Pleasant Springs.
Born Nov. 1, 1884, at Moscow, WIs., she subsequently lived at Mt. Horeb, Madison, and Pleasant Springs.
Survivors, besides her husband, are two sons, Roy, Alliance, Neb., and Torris, Sioux City, Ia.; two daughters, Mrs. Lyle Grinde, Cottage Grove, and Mrs. M. T. Whalen, Madison; a sister, MRs. Mary Johnson, Black Earh; three brothers, Paul Helgeson, Cottage Grove, Albert, of Perry, and Halvor, Hollandale; 14 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 8 p.m. at the Fitch-Lawrence funeral home, with the Rev. Charles R. Puls, Luther Memorial Chruch, officiating, and Saturday at 1:30 at the Perry LUtheran church, with a nephew, the Rev. Amos Stolen, officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
