Clare Ann Krueger

Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 a.m., Friday, June 6, 2014 at Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Richmond, MN for Clare Ann Krueger, age 82, who died peacefully on Monday at Assumption Nursing Home in Cold Spring. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.

Relatives and friends may call from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m., Thursday at the Wenner Funeral Home in Richmond. Parish Prayers will be at 7 p.m. Visitation will continue from 9:00 – 10:30 a.m. Friday morning at the funeral home.

Clare Ann was born in Richmond, MN to Alex and Barb (Engelhart) Pallansch. She married Melvin “Jiggs” Krueger on December 26, 1953 in Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, Richmond, MN. Clare Ann loved to garden, cook, bake, classical and Christmas music. Grandma made the best Christmas cookies, pancakes and french toast. She truly loved her grandchildren and being with her family. Clare Ann was a member of Sts. Peter & Paul Parish.

Survivors include her children, Ronald, Marilyn (Tracy) Bee, Ralph (Ana/Yoneko), Mark and Janet (Mike) Robertson; grandchildren, Marlene (Sasna) Saldana, Cassandra, Jordan, Carlos, Eric, Sean and Brayden; great-grandchildren, Jaden and MiKaela Saldana; and her granddoggers, Gizmo, Magwai, Buddy, Nellie and Quassie; siblings, Mary (Gene) Weber, John (Rita) Pallansch and Ann Kaufmann.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin “Jiggs” (2004); daughter-in-law, Anna Marie Rodriguez Krueger; siblings, Kathleen Botz, Alex Jr. Pallansch, Irene Miller and Ellen Ameden.
