Clarissa Norwood

Clarissa Norwood was born at Goose Cove, Gloucester, Massachusetts. On June 1, 1812 Clarissa married Joseph Norwood, also of Gloucester. They moved to Briustol, Maine in 1820 then to New Castle, Maine in 1871. Children of Joseph & Claire (Clarissa): (these children came from The History of Ancient Sheepscot & Newcastle by Rev.  m. Helen Hanley (this is the spelling on the original cert.)( of Bristol, Maine on 9-16-1864. daughter of John and Ruth Hanley of Bristol

  (Both noted on marriage certificate) She b. 11-12-1834 d. 11-7-1908 @ age 73
