Clark and Lucy were buried in Woodllands Cemetery, lot U-64. Clark was elected Cambridge Village assessor in 1902.
Obituary - From The Washington County Post "Clark Weir died at his home here [Cambridge] Wednesday morning at the age of 83 years. He was born Town of Gainesville, New York, the son of Daniel and Nancy Weir.
"When he was 12 years old, he moved to Cambridge where he has resided ever since. He served during the Civil War as a sergeant in Company G, 93rd Regiment.
"On 14 January 1865 he married Lucy McKie Bailey, who survives him. He is also survived by a son, Ralph J. Weir, and two grandchildren, Veronica and Donald Weir."
