"He married Lady Westhaw of the noble family of Sandilands in Scotland but by her who died many years before him he had no issue, so he left his estate to Edmund the eldest son of his brother William" - John Armstrong, 'The Pedigree of the Family of Armstrongs', continued by the Rev.
