The stone only is at Pohick. Jeremiah Bronaugh was buried at Newtown Plantation in the Mason Family Cemetery. Kate Rowland Mason recorded circa 1892, "recent owners of the land have ruthlessly ploughed up the old graveyard, one of the tombstones having been left leaning against a tree in one of the fields." This was probably the gravestone of Jeremiah Bronaugh, Jr.
Aged 47.
He was Justice of Fairfax County and Vestryman of Truro Parish.
Son of William and Ann E. Bronaugh.
He married Simphia Rosa Ann Field Mason in 1729. Their children were:
