It was Sally's husband Hugh C Davis, that gave a deposition for my Lydia (Calvert) Cooksey, Mills, when she applied for her second husband George Mills Rev War Pension. Lydia's son my 5th Great Grandfather Obediah Cooksey Jr., bought 400 acres of land from Sally's brother John Scott Fairfax, before he moved to Kentucky. John Scott Fairfax married Ann Mills, Lydia (Calvert) Cooksey, Mills niece, through her sister Margaret (Calvert) Mills who married John Mills of Prince William Co.,Va., John Scott Fairfax is mentioned in his Will 1826 Prince William Co.,Va., this is before he married his daughter Ann Mills. Margaret (Calvert) Mills, grandson William H Simpson, married Susan Fairfax youngest child of Hezekiah Fairfax and his second wife Margaret Calvert. Susan (Fairfax) Simpson, my William "Billy" Fairfax Jr's younger half sister. Your Sally (Fairfax) Davis, is my William Fairfax Jr's first cousin. Hezekiah and William Fairfax II were half brothers.
