Mrs. Cora Tucker Succumbed Sunday At Daughter's
Funeral services for Mrs. Cora PENTECOST TUCKER were
conducted Tuesday at the First Baptist Church Rev.
Dewey STUBBLEFIELD, Elder A. B. ROSS and Rev. George
DOUGLAS. Burial was in Sunset Cemetery, with Bowlin and
Riggs Mortuary directing arrangements. She was 83.

Mrs. TUCKER died Sunday from an extended illness at the
home of her daughter, Mrs. Pauline ACREE, with whom she
had lived for several years. She was a member of the
Blooming Grove Primitive Baptist church. Her husband,
the late Esq. Neal TUCKER died in 1944. She leaves two
sons, Thomas TUCKER, Martin; Marshall TUCKER, Dresden;
five daughters, Mrs. Pauline ACREE, Dresden; Mrs. Gordon
FINLEY and Mrs. Claud BLACKNALL, Jackson; Mrs. Jimmie
KERBY, Memphis; and Mrs. Dewey STUBBLEFIELD, Owensboro,
Ky.; three brothers, Gus PENTECOST, Mayfield; Clyde
PENTECOST, Palmersville, and Quitman PENTECOST, Detroit.

Grandsons served as pallbearers.
