My mother had another child that was born as a miscarriage between my brothers Daniel and Robert, would of been 11 children. Whenever she was mad at any of us you would know as she would use your middle name. Always did her cooking and baking from scratch and never measured a thing, a handful of this, pinch of that, etc. She did lots of canning and perserves from dads garden and our fruit trees.Mom had depression, I remember catching her crying and asked why. She said she missed her parents and siblings, she was all that was left being the youngest. It had it's good and not so good sides to it. She said I would know how she feels someday as I was the youngest also.When feeling enegetic she would do the Charleston dance for me. I loved seeing how she lite up.
