Biography

He was born 19 Sep 1734 in Portsmouth, Rockingham, New Hampshire, the son of Son of William Lang 1698 – 1759 and Susannah Savage 1698 – 1784.[1] He marriage first to Eleanor Burliegh (1731 –) on 10 July 1758, Newington, New Hampshire.("10 July 1758 Benjamin· Langdon and Eleanor Burley both of Rye")[2] In 1775 Corp Benjamin Lang served as a minute men in Parson's Co. at the Fort at New Castle.[1]

  • Eleanor Lang 1759 – 1832 married Jonathan Pulsifer 1759–1827[1]
  • Hannah Lang 1761 – 1829 maried William Burleigh Jr (Blacksmith and Rev of Stratham, Candia and Loudon 1761–1839).[1]
  • Capt Benjamin Lang 1765 – 1818 married Deborah Bean 1766–1830[1]
  • Betsey Lang born 25 Aug 1771 in Rochester, Strafford, New Hampshire, married Joshua Foss 1770–1831. [3][4][5]

Second Marriage and Estate

He married second to Deborah Varrill (1755 – 1836) on 27 Dec 1797 in Candia, Rockingham, New Hampshire, United States.[1] He died on 5 May 1816 , Aged 81 years in Candia, New Hampshire.[6] [1] His estate was administered by his second wife Deborah ( Varrill) Lang.[7] She appointed John Clay to inventory his estate. His widow married second to John Clay (1757-1832) as his second wife. [1]
