Harry Guthrie Whishaw was the son of John Henley Whishaw and Catherine Elizabeth Whishaw (Guthrie). Appointed Corporal in April 1916 and then temporary Lance Sergeant June 1916. Three children enlisted and died Bernard Guthrie (WW1 11/1996), Harry Guthrie (WW1 10/154) and Mabel (22/371). T/L/Sergeant in WIR, file number 10/154.
