WHISHAW - On the 4th July 1900, at Featherston, John Henley Whishaw, aged 49 years and 11 months.

• I regret to report the demis of a popular resident, in the person of Mr J. H. Whishaw, who passed away at his residence in the early hours of this morning. The deceased had been suffering for some months past with cancer. The funeral will take place on Friday afternoon at the Featherston Cemetery. As a mark of the esteem in which Mr Whishaw was held, the bell of St John's Church was tolled this morning.
• The Friends of the late John Henry Whishaw are respectfully invited to attend his Funeral, which will leave his late residence, Featherston, at 3.30 p.m., on 6th July, for the Featherston Cemetery. W. Benton, Undertaker
