The Burrows family burial plot in Montrose Cemetery is a large one, sufficient for many graves. A monument for Amos Burrows with record "d, Feb. 26, 1840 - Ae 79 years, 24 days" and with inscribed epitaph is the only marker and it can be assumed the other members of the family - his wife, children and grandchildren are buried within the plot. At one side of or in a plot adjacent to the Amos Burrows plot are two headstones, one for Jesse the upper part broken off and missing and a companion headstone for his wife Cynthia. In a nearby plot are the headstones for the Cheevers, parents of Cynthia: Cyrus and Lydia Cheever.
