26 May 1574: Charter by Alexander Earl of Glencairn to Margaret Campbell, daughter of Colin Campbell of Glenorchy, whereby in implement of a contract entered into between the Earl, Dame Jean Cunningham his wife, William Master of Glencairn and Janet Gordon his wife, and James Cunningham son and apparent heir of the said William Master of Glencairn on the one part, and the said Colin Campbell of Glenorchy, Katharine Ruthven his wife, Duncan Campbell fiar of Glenorchy and the said Margaret Campbell daughter of the said Colin Campbell and Katharine Ruthven, dated at Edinburgh 24 May 1574, the Earl dispones to the said Margaret Campbell and her heirs the lands and baronies of Finlayston and Ranfurlie Cunningham with the manor places etc. Witnesses Hugh Cunningham of Waterston, Andrew Cunningham, son of the Earl, Gavin Hamilton and John Smollet.   3. Lady Jean Cunningham who married George Haldane of Gleneagles (died 18 October 1574). After his death she married Roger Kirkpatrick of Closeburn. After his death she married Robert Fergusson, 9th Laird of Craigdarroch (died about 1613).
  4. Lady Margaret Cunningham who married Sir Lachlan Mor Maclean of Duart (died 5 August 1598)
  5. Lady Elizabeth Cunningham who married (1) in 1579 to James Crawford of Auchinames. After his death she married Alexander Cuninghame, 5th Laird of Craigends. Elizabeth died before 7 September 1614.
