26 December 1584: Obligation by Elizabeth Conynghame, widow of James Craufurd of Auchinames, narrating that in the infeftment of liferent made by her husband to her of the lands of Gill, Glentone and Drum, and also in the liferent confirmation granted to her by James, Earl of Glencairn thereupon, there is reserved the liferent of Geilles Conynghame, widow of John Crawfurd of Achinnames; and for certain sums paid to her by said Geilles Conynghame she consents that Geilles enjoy the full liferent right of the said lands without molestation. 2 May 1586: Letters of Inhibition at the instance of Elizabeth Cwnynghame, Lady Craganis, Alex, C. of Craganis, her spouse, and Gelis C., widow of John Craufurd of Auchinames, against tenants and occupiers of their lands of Whiteside, Glentoun, Gill and Drum, who are under process of removing. 16 January 1596-97: Obligation by Alexander Conynghame of Cragens, narrating that Elizabeth C., his spouse, disponed to Patrick Crawfurd, elder of Auchinnames her liferent right in Corsbie-Crawfurd, with other terce due to her from Auchinames, for the sum of £8331:10: 7 Scots, and in security thereof the lands of Auchinnames were wadset to said Alexander and her. Alexander therefore obliges himself to John C. of Ross and Alex. C. of Corshill that when the principal sum is paid and the above lands redeemed, he shall infeft Elizabeth in a sufficient jointure, subject to the approval of her friends abovewritten, and having regard to the liferent already possessed by Margaret Cunynghame, Lady Cragenis, mother of said Alexander. Witnesses (at Glasgow), William C., the granter's brother german, Alexander C., his servant, and William C., brother of said Elizabeth.
