I specialize in German and American research; with a side-line into Cornwall -- as 14 of my 16 Great Great Grandparents were from Germany, and two were from Cornwall.

My Y-DNA test came back as J-M267 (J1), and with additional SNP tests was refined to J-L816 (J1a2b3a1).

King David

The biblical King David (King David of Israel) is supposedly somewhere around my 97th great grandfather (it fluctuates, and was an even 100th great grandfather a few months ago). This is most likely true, but the proof is certainly not concrete.

• May 2017: King David of Israel / דוד המלך is your 99th great grandfather.
• 21 Jan 2018 -- King David is now my 100th great grandfather.
• 10 May 2019 -- No path found to King David of Israel.
