Daniel married Ann Sanborn, the daughter of Joseph Sanborn and Mary (Gove) Sanborn. They lived at Kinston, where Daniel was a farmer and saw mill operator. He inherited the mill from his father.

Daniel and Ann had five children:

Joseph Bean, born October 17, 1704, died March 24, 1753, married Miriam Folsom, had nine children
Peniel Bean, born circa 1713, married Joseph Hall, and had nine children born in Dover, New Hampshire;
Jonathan Bean, born circa1720, married Abigail Gordon and had eight children, born in Chester New Hampshire;

David Bean, born February 10, 1725, died April 10, 1793, married Mary May Judkins, and ten children;
