Daniel Kent

Daniel Kent was born to Jacob and Abigail Barnes Kent in Brookfield,Worchester, Massachusetts on 31 Dec 1778. He married Nancy Young, 13 Jan 1803 in Vermont, who was the oldest child of John H. Young and Abigail Nabby Howe and oldest sibling of Brigham Young. Daniel and Nancy had nine children with two of them dying at birth. They had six daughters, Emily, Polly, Fanny, Nancy, Susan and Abigail who were all born in New York. They had three sons, Edward (born in Vermont)and Daniel both died at birth and Edson died at two years of age. Daniel was 74 when he died 23 July 1853 in Chester, Geauga Co. Ohio. His occupation was as a farmer.
