Daniel Knowlton, III

A Patriot of the American Revolution for MASSACHUSETTS with the rank of PRIVATE. DAR Ancestor # A066786

Daniel, only son of Daniel and Borguilla Lamb Knowlton, was born 1717 in Holliston Massachusetts and resided in Framingham, Massachusetts where he died September 15, 1782. He married Abigail Almy and had William, Mary, Asa, Elias, Anna, Daniel, Nathan, and John.

Daniel's origins are difficult to ascertain but he may be the son of Daniel Knowlton and Borguilla Lamb.

Abigail's ancestry is just as mysterious although Almy seems to have been a common name in RI from back then.

Other children of Daniel and Abigail's were Anna who married Philip Metcalf and Beulah who married Joshua Kendall.
