On 5/20/1736, Daniel Sr, with consent of Catherine, sold to his son Daniel Jr 74 acres in New Rochelle for 300 Pounds. Also, in 1737, Daniel Jr bought 40 acres from Anthony Lespinard, with consent of his wife Elizabeth, for 70 Pounds. Both these transactions were entered into the Town Minute Book by Isaac Guion, Clerk, 2/25/1762.

Sons Daniel, John & Peter all went to Courtland Manor, NY and served as Pvts with the Provincial Troops in 1760 with his Majesty's 5th Company of Militia in the North Battalion in Westchester.Wm Willet Col. Commanding; Lt Col James Verplanck; Maj Pierre VanCortland.

Appointed Surveyor of New Rochelle in 1723; fence viewer on May 12, 1726; assessor on April 6, 1742; pound master on April 7, 1749 & April 3, 1750; and various town offices until 1760.

Witnessed a will for John Schureman of New Rochelle, NY 4/28/1775.
