My motto is:
Family “Our family is a circle of strength and love, and with every birth and every union the circle grows. Every joy shared adds more love; every crisis faced together makes the circle stronger."
I have long been a fan of family history and as a child, I tended to seek out my elders as friends as opposed to children of my own age. I was fascinated to hear of the stories that were being told never really understanding that one day, there would be a world wide interest in genealogy and a world wide web called the internet that would allow me and millions of others to someday trace our ancestry roots.
I was born and raised in the Van Buren / Ft. Smith, Arkansas region and moved to the Pacific Northwest about 10 years ago. Up until my move, I shared the common interest of genealogy with my father, like me, always seemed to cherish friendships of elders and the history they would share. My journey in building my ancestral tree has not been consistent time wise but, has always been with a happy heart!
