Probate

His will was dated 30 July 1750 and proved on 1 August 1755 in Plymouth. He mentions his wife Betty, his son David, and his grandson Lemuel. His inventory was taken on 2 August 1755 in Middleborough.[5]

In 1756, with his estate still not settled and his son David Jr, now deceased, Joseph Waterman of Middleborough was granted the administration of his estate.[6]

In 1768, an account of his estate by Joseph Waterman was recorded which included, debts paid, legacy paid, and administration fees. There was a balance of about 22 pounds.[7]
