About David Edward Gish
David Edward is the 7th child of Samuel Milton and Elizabeth A. Smith Gish. He moved to California when he was bout 19 years of age where he worked many years for Shell Oil Copany. During WWII he worked for the ship building industry specializing in the construction of PT boats. Over the years he owned several service stations in Orange County and was the owner of Gish's Cafe after his brother Sam retired. He was a member of the First Christian Church of Santa Ana, a member of the original "Santa Ana Breakfast Club", and a charter member of the Eagles Lodge. An avid fisherman and lover of the out of doors, he was always active with many youth groups.
