David Glenn Thompson

Printer/ Publisher by trade. Co-owned/ published the Weld County Republican paper in Greeley, CO. I visited his homesite in 2007 [in Greeley] and it was demolished and is currently a CINTAS uniform warehouse. His Newspaper office is still a printing shop, but it is run under a different name now [and is 2 doors down from the district's Democratic offices-oh, the irony]. Sometime around 1906 David Glenn moved his family to San Francisco, and I assume it would have been after the 1906 earthquake as the family is not listed anywhere in those records. He stayed in the printing business in San Francisco, which can be verified through San Francisco City directories. One thing, the census records for 1930 show him as divorced, which is interesting, as there is no record for a divorce.
