<p>Notes</p><p>David was born in Price William County, Virginia; served 3 years in the Revolutionary War; ma rried in Halifax County, Virginia; moved to Pittsylvania County, Virginia and in 1816 to Clin ton County, Ohio.</p><p>1777 enlisted for service in Virginia. David was in the Calvery under"Light Horse" Henry Lee" . He joined the service for three years and was promoted to Corporal.</p><p>28 May 1781Fauquier County Court, David Hamrick, corporal produced adischarge from William Washington Lieutenant Colonel of the Light Dragoons and made oath thath the same was authorit _ _ and _ and that hehad never before claimed or proved his right to the land for the services therein mentioned which was ordered to be certified.</p><p>24 Feb 1784 David Hamrick Corporal of the Virfginia Line received Virginia Bounty Land Warrant #2613 for 200 Ac from David Florence in Ohio Land Office.</p><p>Revolutionary War Records Virginia Section III (21) Virginia Military Land Warrants #2613 Ham brick, David Corp, 3 years.
