<p>Notes</p><p>Daniel and Nathaniel Gray agst Siars Hamrick Minute Book 8 pa 241 1786 Hauquier County, Virgi nia.</p><p>Pension S 1809. He appeared 2nd day of Nov 1833 before a justice of peace in Hampshire Count y, Virginia where at the age of 80 he applied for a pension under the Act of Congress passed Jun 7, 1832. He stated he was born April 4, 1753 Fauquier, Virginia. recorded in father's and grandfather's bible.</p><p>August 1775 enlisted with Capt James Scott, Fauquier County, Virginia.</p><p>Went to Culpeper Court House for Batalion training 3 months;</p><p>3 mos: 1 Sep 1775</p><p>4 months November 1775 under John Chilton.</p><p>3 months Aug 1776 under Elias Edmunds.</p><p>4 months Mar 1781 under John T Chunn. Wounded at Williamsburg.</p><p>He was awarded a Revolutinary War pension in Hamphire County, Virginia now West Virginia.</p><p>Private-Sergeant Virginia Militia. Pension $48.33 annual allowance at age 81.</p>Paid $144.99. Roll 1835. Pension started 4 Apr 1834.
