About David Howell
From Pioneers of Old Hopewell: With Sketches of Her Revolutionary Heroes (Google eBook) by Ralph Ege. Race & Savidge, 1908 - Hopewell (N.J.) - 289 pages. Page 225.
on December 20, 1686, a John Larison also of Newtown married Mary Howell, a widow. She was probably the second wife of John Larison, Senior, the Dane. The evidence in support of this theory is that the first husband of Mary Howell was doubtless a brother of Margaret Howell, who married Rev. John Moore. This was the only family of Howells at Newtown and this marriage would make the Larisons a family connection of Nathaniel Moore, the first of the name in Hopewell, and connect the Larisons with a large circle of the English families who first settled in this region.
