This David Trail is a documented son of James Trail Sr. by virtue of a 1777 Montgomery County militia roster wherein he is referred to as " David Trail, "of James ". Hie is also likely the same David Trail that appeared at the 1815 private Estate sale for Mary McBee (McAbee). He also may be one and the same as the David Trailey who appeared in an 1830 census for Frederick County, Maryland.
