- The above will was for Jane Trail West, daughter of James Trail Sr. and Rachel Ray Trail of " Rock Head". Some researchers saw this record and mistakenly took it to prove that Jane Trail West's mother was a Wofford. Surviving Court/Estate records prove James Trail Sr. married Rachel Ray. The Rays were very close to the Wofford family as well. Over 100 years earlier in Rock Creek Hundred, Prince George's County, Maryland William Wofford Sr. was the Administrator of John Ray's Estate.
