About David Earl Williams
David Williams, son of Walter Earl & Almeda (Baker) Williams, was born on Oct 24, 1918 in Milan, MO.
He married Marion Weaver Seaney on July 27, 1946 in South Bend, IN. who survives. Also surviving are four daughters, Marion Ann Farris of Clearwater, FL., Karen Maze of Kokomo, Peggy Shaffer of Elkhart, and Kristina Soule of Mishawaka; a son, Master Sgt. Michael Williams, stationed at Fort David Panama; 13 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two sisters, Cora Noffsinger of Elkhart and Alma Brown of Mesa, AZ; and a Brother, Paul of New Carlisle.
He was deputy director of the St. Joseph County Civil Defense. He retired in 1983 after 25 years of service to Brockhuizen Producein. He was a Navy veteran of World War II, a member of the Civil Defense-Weather Watch Control, St. Joseph Masonic Lodge 45 and he enjoyed ham radio.
Services were held Monday, June 27,1988 in Welsheimer Funeral Home, Cleveland Rd. Interment is at St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park.
