He was in his Majesty's service under Capt. Tristam and he received from the town of Brimfield, Aug. 16, 1779 7 Pounds for service in their army.

He was married three times. He married (1) 11 Jan. 1741 Abigail King (2) 29 Aug. 1744 Patience Stebbins and (3) 11 Dec. 1750 Mary Burt.
