Samuel Baldwin, son of Samuel Baldwin and Abigail (Baldwin) Baldwin, was b. in Guilford, Connecticut, January 13, 1689; he went to Branford, and thence, in 1734, to Litchfield. He m. 1st March 14, 1710/11 with ELIZABETH FRISBIE, of Branford; 2nd on January 8, 1712/13, with LYDIA SPERRY. He joined the Church in Branford in 1711; his wife Lydia in 1713. He became Deacon of the Church there. He and his wife were recommended, July 23, 1735, to the Church in Litchfield, Connecticut, and are marked as gone.
Children (all by Lydia): Samuel (1/4/1713), David (1/25/1716), Elizabeth (1/13/1721), Caleb (2/27/1723), Ebenezer (11/5/1728), and Rebecca (12/16/1729).
