Mrs. Horace Zabriskie Answers Final Call

Mrs. Horace Zabriskie mother of Mrs. Geo S. Pinney and Mrs. Lilly C. Cuyler of our city, passed away Thursday at Dr. Arids hospital in Provo. Funeral services were held Saturday in American Fork and interment was in the Pleasant Grove cemetery.

The Zabriskie family had recently purchased the home of John R. Jensen who just moved from Richfield and were in the act of moving here when Mrs. Zabriskie took sick. Mrs. Zabriskie was born in Provo October 22, 1862 a daughter of James C. and Jane Roberts Snow, early pioneers of Utah having come to this section in 1853. Her marriage to Horace Zabriskie took place November 28, 1879 and from this union union were born eleven children, the youngest, Alta, having preceded her mother in in death six years. The husband and the following following children survive; Mrs Susan Van Wagner of Pleasant Grove, Mrs. Ella Bryner and John Zabriskie of Junction, Mrs. Ella Pinney and Mrs. Lillio Cuyler of Richfield, Mrs. Josie Nelson of Kingston, Mrs. Mildred Sanders of LaVerkin, George, Oral and Verl Zabriskie of Richfield. Three brothers and three sisters survive also.
