Derrick Van Orden, U.S. Congress

Derrick Francis Van Orden (born September 15, 1969) is an American politician, businessman, actor, and retired United States Navy SEAL who is the U.S. representative for Wisconsin's 3rd congressional district. He is a member of the Republican Party. Mr. Van Orden gained notoriety in 2023 after a night of drinking, verbally abused a number of Senate Pages, who were lying on their backs taking photographs of the inside of dome of the US Capitol Rotunda, as part of a customary end-of-session ritual.
