About Dionisio Jakosalem
Dionisio Jakosalem was baptized by Hermenegildo Villa, and his godfather at the time of his baptism was Francisco Patlingrao, who was a native of Dumanjug at that time. He was a writer and lawyer, who served as the Governor of Cebu from 1907 to 1912, and was the first Filipino to hold a cabinet post during the American period.
