About Dr. Abel Morgan
Not the son of Joseph “charcoal burner” Morgan, Sr.
Dr. Abel Morgan was born in 1742 in Bucks, Pennsylvania.[citation needed]
His father was Durham Furnace ironmaster, James Morgan (d. 1782), [and his brother was Revolutionary War general Daniel Morgan (b. 1736, d. 1802).[1] [sic: not his brother]
Abel served in the Continental Army in Williams Township, Pennsylvania.[1]
He was a doctor in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.[1]
He married Elizabeth Bell[1] on 2 September 1790.[citation needed]

Abel and Elizabeth's home was in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States.[1]
During a fever epidemic in 1793, Abel moved Elizabeth and their daughter to Williams Township, Pennsylvania, United States.[1]
Shortly thereafter, he died from the fever while treating patients in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States.[1]
