The Funeral Mass for Dollie Mae Hoffman will be at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, November 3rd, at St. Patrick's Catholic Church – West Albany in rural Millville, MN with Father Robert Meyer officiating. Burial will be in St. Patrick's Catholic Cemetery – West Albany in rural Millville. Mrs. Hoffman, 76, of Plainview, MN and formerly of Millville, MN died Sunday evening, October 30, 2011 at St. Isidore Health Center of Greenwood Prairie in Plainview, MN. Dollie Mae Plank was born April 23, 1935 in Oakwood Township, Wabasha County, MN to Cyril and Mary (Heddlesten) Plank. She grew up and attended the Giem School in Wabasha County. On October 19, 1952 she married Joseph Hoffman at the United Methodist Church in Plainview, MN. They owned and operated the Millville Café in Millville, MN from 1952 to 1964 when they moved to a farm in rural Millville. In 2008 they moved to Plainview, MN. Dollie is survived by her husband of 59 years, Joseph Hoffman of Plainview, MN; two daughters, Julie (Jeff) Palm of Millville, MN and Jane (Robert) McGrath of Plainview, MN; two sons, Joey (Odie Christianson) Hoffman of Millville, MN and Jeffrey (Patti) Hoffman of Plainview, MN; one daughter-in-law, Brenda Hoffman of Millville, MN; ex-daughter-in-law, Julie Hoffman of Plainview, MN; 13 grandchildren and 2 great-granddaughters plus 2 great-grandchildren due soon; two sisters, Doris (Robert) Schnell and Betty (Sylvester) Shones both of Millville, MN; and two brothers, William "Bud" (June) Plank of Kellogg, MN and Richard (Sylvia) Plank of Tucson, AZ; one sister-in-law, Delores "Skinny" Plank of Lake City, MN. She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Donald, and two sons, Kevin and Jon. Friends and family may visit from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 2nd, at Schleicher Funeral Homes, Plainview Chapel in Plainview, MN and one hour prior to the service at the Church on Thursday.
