Donald Burdett Bayly Stevenson

Donald's birth mother, Irene Viola Currie Bayly, died at his birth on June 7, 1925. Donald was subsequently adopted by his father's sister Edith Henrietta (Bayly) and her husband William Stevenson.

Donald was born the day of his mother's death. As his father (Donald William Lachan Bayly) was ill, he was adopted out to his father's sister. The children of DWL Bayly remained in contact.
