Donald Lee "Don" Carstens

Donald L. Carstens, 82, passed away Tuesday, November 17, 2020, in Marion, Iowa.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, there will be no visitation or funeral services.

Donald has been cremated and his ashes entrusted to his family. Place of burial may be with his parents in Prospect View Cemetery, Pierce, Nebraska.

Donald Lee Carstens was born February 13, 1938, in Pierce, Nebraska, the son of Henry and Antonia (Synovec) Carstens. He proudly served in the U.S. Armed Forces. He never married.

Surviving are one brother, Robert (Jacqueline) Carstens of Madison, NE, and a dear friend Joanne Demoss of Clarence, IA.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, Anita Johnson and one brother, Darrel Carstens.
