D. Florine Thatcher 88, of Decatur, passed away on Saturday January 15, 2011. She was born on June 17, 1922 to the late Lester V. and Grace C. (Cully) Everett in Wren, Ohio. On October 1, 1960 she married Joseph W. Thatcher, he passed away on May 8, 2005.

Florine was a member of the G.E. Quarter Century Club, E.L.E.X G.E. Womens Club, American Legion Auxiliary, Women of the Moose # 1311 and formerly attended Decatur Wesleyan Church.

She is survived by one son Kerry W. Thatcher of Convoy, OH., three daughters Leilonnee R. (Brad) Taylor of Convoy, OH., Victoria Hudson-Scheider of Germany, Mary F. Hudson of Ellettsville, IN., and two sisters her twin Babe Gephart of Decatur, IN., and Alice LeRoy of Sacramento, CA., three Grandchildren, and two Great Grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by 3 brothers and 4 sisters.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00am on Friday January 21st at the Decatur Cemetery Chapel.

Memorials may be made to Adams County Council on Aging.
